NJ Makers Day

Began in 2015 to enhance community engagement and develop connections among New Jersey residents by collaborating with multi-type libraries, museums, small businesses and others to promote and explore new opportunities for entrepreneurship, innovation and hands-on learning experiences. In 2016, New Jersey Makers Day was expanded to be a two-day event, which allows sites not able to host events during the weekend (like schools, colleges and universities, manufacturers, local businesses, etc.) to still be able to provide programs, demonstrations and other events for their communities.

Black Rocket Productions

A few years ago, Bill gave his then pre-teen daughter, Sarah, a special video camera for her birthday. Like many gifts, it could have been forgotten. He showed Sarah and her friend, Addie, how to use it and what it could do. Addie’s Mom heard about it. She owned a local store-front art school for kids and asked him to teach kids how to make a short movie.
He agreed. Bill then went on to pour twenty years of award-winning national and international commercial film writing and production experience into this new project.

EverFi
EverFi covers some of the most important and critical topics for students to learn. Typically, only schools with the most resources can provide innovative programs in these areas. EverFi is building an international network of partners and sponsors to fund these critical programs in K-12 schools across North America with a particular emphasis on high need communities. The non-profit sector can't afford to pay for it nationally and local governments have made a decision not to fund it. If the private sector and foundations can help fill that gap, we need to be cheering it on.
KidWind
KidWind has been working with educators and students nationwide since 2003, imparting knowledge of renewable energies to more than 10,000 teachers and 600,000 students. Each year, we involve more people while fostering existing connections to grow our network exponentially.
KidWind has developed effective, engaging, and sustainable methods of bringing renewable energy education to school districts and communities across the nation through our four core program areas.
